As automotive enthusiasts from all corners of Antigua flocked to the North Sound International Raceway, the vibrant atmosphere was palpable, filled with the scent of burnt rubber and Barbecue delights. Antigua Streetz, known for organizing some of the most exciting auto events on the island, such as Toyota Day, Honda Day and the most anticipated Little Tokyo, once again demonstrated their commitment to the automotive arena by curating an impressive array of vehicles from around the island. Car owners and enthusiasts took pride in displaying their cherished rides and engaging in passionate conversations about engines, mods, and driving experiences.
Revving Up the Competition: The Subaru WRX Giveaway
The heart of the event was the Subaru WRX Giveaway, made possible by Antigua Streetz & CPR Equipment Services where participants had the opportunity to purchase as many raffle tickets as possible for an opportunity to win a brand new Subee! With an electric atmosphere, streams of patrons huddled into the Pit gleaming at the stunning white WRX, their hearts pounding in unison with anticipation as to who would be the lucky winner! Antigua Streetz founder, Mr. Carson Thomas, had the honor of announcing the winning ticket. As the tension reached its peak, the lucky winner’s name was announced, and an ecstatic roar erupted from the crowd. However, the fortunate recipient, wasn’t even within the Pit area at the time the draw was being executed. After announcing his name twice over the loudspeakers, he could’ve been seen running down the hill through the crowd to claim his prize, visibly moved by the life-changing moment.
A Feast for the Senses – Wings & More
The fusion of fast cars and food trucks were a key ingredient at the Whipz & Wings Auto Meet. A delightful assortment of food trucks and stalls tantalized attendees with a wide variety of mouthwatering dishes, with wings taking the center stage. From tangy Buffalo wings to mouth watering tacos, foodies were spoiled for choice. In the cool of the evening gear heads discussed their automotive passions. The event organizers certainly struck the right chord by coupling the thrill of high-performance machines with the joy of good food.
The Burnout Competition
After announcing the winner of the Subaru WRX Giveaway, it was time to release some steam!
